Emergency HVAC Repair Services
Several signs will signal that you require an emergency HVAC repair, such as screeching noises, leaks, burning odors, and banging sounds. A complete loss of heating or cooling during extreme temperatures is another serious indicator.
A yellow furnace burner flame, rather than a blue one, is another clear sign. This typically points to incomplete combustion, which produces carbon monoxide.
Never attempt to fix any problems on your own. This could lead to serious issues like personal injury or damage to your system. Additionally, you might void the manufacturer’s warranty. If this happens, you may have to pay for future HVAC service costs out of pocket.
AC and Furnace Installation
There are multiple reasons homeowners might request an AC or furnace installation. For example, they may want to switch system types, or their current system has reached the end of its lifespan. Installing a new unit offers numerous benefits, such as improved energy efficiency and lower utility costs. With a high-quality installation and regular maintenance, HVAC systems typically last 15 to 20 years.
Cool Power LLC offers free installation estimates. To help our clients get the new systems they need, financing is available on approved credit.
Seasonal Heating and Cooling Maintenance
Seasonal heating and AC maintenance are crucial to keep a system running optimally. It also helps to extend its lifespan.
We recommend scheduling an appointment in the spring to get the system ready for the summer. Book another one in the fall to prepare it for winter. This allows our HVAC technicians to detect and address minor issues promptly, so that they don’t worsen into severe, costly ones. Before scheduling maintenance services, make sure to ask our HVAC company about our maintenance agreement.
Conduct regular self-inspections between professional appointments. This includes looking for corrosion or leaks. You should also make sure furniture and other items don’t block the indoor supply vents. They should have several feet of clearance on all sides to ensure proper airflow.
Replacing disposable filters is also vital. Turn the unit off before performing a replacement. Remove the dirty filter, insert a clean one, and turn the unit back on. Replace the filter at least every three months. However, homes with allergy sufferers, seniors, pets, or children should change it more often.
Ductless mini-splits often have a reusable filter that you clean about once a month rather than replacing it. After you turn the unit off, remove the filter carefully. Wash it gently and let it air dry thoroughly before you put it back in. Turn the unit back on when the filter is in place.
